Hey Everybody,
I just joined the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team in Training and have signed up to run the Baltimore Marathon in October. As you may know, Team in Training is an organization dedicated to finding cures for cancers of the blood such as leukemias and lymphoma. More than 75% of money donated to the organization goes directly to helping patients. This is almost unheard of for charitable organizations. Great strides have been made in research to combat these illnesses, but there is still so much more that can be done. I was diagnosed with leukemia in 1986 and although I was very fortunate to survive, I learned that this is something no child should have to endure. My goal is to raise 2,400 dollars for the Society. All donations are tax-deductible. So please help me raise money for a good cause.
